J5 Cover "Bridge Over Troubled Waters"

"Bridge Over Troubled Waters" is a Simon and Garfunkel rendition by The Jackson 5. Coming from their Third Album-released in late 1970.

No where's near the genius of Simon & Garfunkel. But I'd be the first to admit, they've done a fine cover(though a post-puberty vocal of Michael would've made it a phenomena!).

Lyrics

ooh,
when you're weary feeling small
when tears are in your eyes
I'll dry them all
I'm on your side
oh, when times get rough
and friends just can't be found
like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down

when you're down and out
when you're on the street
when evening falls so hard
I will comfort you

I'll take your part
oh, and darkness come
and pain is all around
like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
ooh

I will lay me down
sail on silver
I will lay me down
sail on silver girl
your time has come to shine
all your dreams are on their way

see how they shine
oh, if you need a friend
I'm sailing right behind
like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind
ooh

I will ease your mind
like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind
ohh, ohh, ooh
like a bridge over troubled water
