Jackson 5 Oh How Happy

"Oh How Happy" is a cover to a 1966 hit by The "Shades of Blue". It was chosen to feature on track 3 of The Jackson 5 Third Album.

I might be slightly bias(since the oldies stations around here tend to repeat certain numbers). But I still say The Shades of Blue have it a step above(since the cover basically copied the former while leaving out the stomps).

Lyrics

Oh how happy you have made me
Oh how happy you have made me

I have kissed your lips a thousand times
And more times than I can count
I have called you mine
You have stood by me in my darkest hour

Oh how happy you have made me
Oh how happy you have made me
Oh how happy you have made me
Oh how happy you have made me

In our years together
We had stormy weather
But our love has been so strong
But somehow we carry on

See, oh how happy you have made me
Oh how happy you have made me
Oh how happy you have made me
Oh how happy you have made me

You brought joy to my empty life
And all that?s wrong you made it right
My love, our love, my love, yeah, yeah
