Originally named "Heart Break Hotel", Jackson later altered the title in honor of Elvis Presley-Though later he revealed not to be fond of The King of Rock and Roll's music. Only Michael contributed his precious vocals as his brothers pitched in with the percussion. "This Place Hotel" scored a #2 spot on the R&B Singles Chart. Becoming their second greatest achievement right behind "Can You Feel It".
The song has a mysteriously suspenseful aura while lounging in a state of confusion. I think this is where Mr. Jackson truly became fond of good old fashioned clean horror. Listen to the track below.
